Metis Perspectives of Suicide
on September 27th from 9:30am to 3:30pm in Sudbury

The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is hosting in-person sharing circles across the province to gather Métis citizens' cultural perspectives on suicide and explore effective ways to support those contemplating ending their life.

These circles are open to all Métis citizens who are 18+ years old. A $200 honorarium and lunch will be provided to all participants who attend the circles as a form of gratitude and appreciation for their participation. These engagement sessions are expected to take up to 5 hours, inclusive of lunch and short, hourly breaks.

Please note, these circles are not intended for individuals to share personal or family mental health experiences but to invite conversations exploring Métis perspectives on how to support community members who are struggling.

Share your voice and help shape a culturally informed approach to supporting Métis community members.
