Two years into the MNO’s 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Action Plan, work continues to support Métis citizens and families in accessing safe, stable, and affordable housing.
In 2025–26, this work included support for 466 households through the Housing Stabilization Program, 86 emergency repairs, 26 affordable rental units, and 14 home buyers approved through the Home Buyers Contribution Program.
With new affordable housing projects underway in Midland and Kenora, and more work planned for the year ahead, the MNO continues to address housing needs for Métis citizens and communities across Ontario.
